Upper St. Clair Restaurant Named One of Pittsburgh's Best

Two South Hills stops made the list.

"This is definitely a South Hills gem."

Pittsburgh Magazine has named Wild Rosemary along Bower Hill Road one of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh for 2013.

"It's not new, but the high-quality, simple dishes listed on the bi-weekly menu continue to appeal to foodies," the magazine states. "Order the cioppino, classic osso bucco or lamb chops."

The restaurant is very small, so be sure to call 412-221-1232 to make reservations.

Another South Hills restaurant made the list of 34 places—Cafe io along Beverly Road in Mt. Lebanon.

"Cafe io is known for artfully simple dishes, an informal family-friendly environment and down-to-earth servers," the magazine states. "Io's children's menu goes outside the box a bit, listing chicken-finger tacos and roasted turkey, among other options."

Another plus: Owner Jeff Iovino donates a portion of the restaurant's proceeds to charity.
