This week's local restaurant spotlight is Calabria's, located on Hidden Valley Road in Upper St. Clair. Overlooking the Frosty Valley Golf Links, Calabria's offers a pleasant atmosphere and a menu of classic Italian dishes as well as American cuisine. This week's restaurant spotlight is Ardolino's Pizza, located on Boyce Road in Upper St. Clair. Ardolino's has been serving up pizza, pasta, calzones and more for 20 years. Delivery is available to residents in Upper St. Clair and surrounding communities. The restaurant's owners placed second at the International Pizza Challenge in Las Vegas in 2012, and Ardolino's was a Patch 2012 Readers' Choice winner for Best Pizza and Best Takeout Food. We have been twice. Both times were excellent. In fact, the second time, my husband took one bite of the pork tacos, put it down on the plate and leaned back in his chair. I immediately thought there was something wrong or really gross. He said that that was the best thing he has ever eaten and wolfed the rest down in about 2 bites.
