As the new Dick's Sporting Goods store prepares to open soon, and the new Target store next year, other stores inside South Hills Village have been renovating. South Hills fashionistas will be thrilled to explore the new 2b, which opened on Sept. 13. 2b’s concept is to provide affordable, fun, flirty, but most importantly fierce women’s trends. South Hills Village goes “PINK.”
Victoria is on her second face lift in two years, South Hill Village’s Victoria’s Secret that is. Last summer, South Hills Village’s Victoria’s Secret was the only storefront to debut the company’s new design vision. Sleek, sexy and boutique-like, the completed renovations induced flourishing success. This summer, it was PINK’s turn. The Victoria’s Secret PINK Collection has a new home—3,000 expanded square feet including private fitting rooms, additional open shopping space and additional cash registers. South Hills Village shoppers, keep an eye out for new additions to the variety of stores.
So, you've been watching that construction project on the north end of South Hills Village and wondering, what's up with that? The folks at Simon Property Group, which runs the mall, have an answer. New to the former site of Gimbels, Kaufmann's and Boscov's will be a pair of familiar retailers, Target on the lower level and Dick’s Sporting Goods on the upper. According to information provided by Simon, Dick’s is preparing for a fall opening, moving from its current location behind Sears. Target is targeting a March opening. Mall-goers have noticed the openings of several establishments this spring, including Francesca’s Collections, Bare Minerals and Saga Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse and Sushi Bar. The South Hills Village store is the only in Pennsylvania to get the new makeover.
South Hills Village is the only mall in Pennsylvania to unveil Victoria’s Secret’s "sexy new look." The leading specialty retailer of lingerie, women’s apparel, sleepwear and fragrances is back in its original location—upper level center court—but is showing off a new and improved look. From the sparkling black cherry marble floor to the giant pink shade that adorns the center of the store, the retailer’s boutique-like makeover is trying to make it a memorable shopping experience for customers.
