I do believe in 2nd chances, I do not condone leaving the scene of an accident, for any reason, and as fart as insurance goes, if there had been no witnesses and she had not been caught, the owners of the cars she hit would have been out of pocket for their loss, especially if they don't carry collision insurance. Observing Passover in Upper St. Clair: What You Need to Know

Here is a list of resources, events and services in honor of the Jewish observance.

Passover Traditions As the story goes, during their flight from slavery, the Jews did not have enough time for their dough to rise, resulting in a flaky cracker that is eaten instead of bread for a full week during Passover. The diet changes go beyond bread, however, and depend on family tradition. As a general rule, just look for the "Kosher for Passover" label, which, thankfully, spreads to more products year after year. Prior to the observance, Jews clean their homes and get rid …

Ten Ways to Avoid a Packed Lunch Slump

Are your kids tired of the same old bagged lunches? How you can spice things up!

The kids just returned to school but you may already be in a “packed lunch slump.” Here are ten ways to make packed lunches healthy, fun and fast. 1. Get a bento box system. Laptop Lunches has great options for bento box-style lunches. Bento-ware includes a soft-sided case with sturdy, dishwasher safe containers (top rack only) that fit together inside, just like a bento box. The system pays for itself as you can ditch plastic resealable bags and pack a far greater variety of lunch options, including dinner leftovers, berries and dips. You can purchase Laptop Lunches online or at the Whole Foods Market in East Liberty. 2. Wrap it & have your child choose the filling. Kids love having turkey and cheese or veggies with hummus wrapped in a …

Whole Foods announced their lease at the planned development on the corner of Route 19 and Fort Couch Road on Nov. 8. Click here for the timetable. Although i will not shop there because I don't believe that the quality justifies the very high prices, similar to Trader Jo's. While I do agree that competition is good, my fear is that Giant Eagle will simply RAISE it's prices to be meet those of Whole Foods! That would be more in line with Giant Eagle's policy, i.e. make the prices as high as possible. My question is: why can't McMurray entice…   more ›
