Limo Driver Faces Charges After Four Vehicle Crashes

The latest from the office of Magisterial District Judge Robert Wyda.

The preliminary hearing for a North Huntingdon man accused of crashing into three vehicles in Upper St. Clair while driving a limo was continued on Monday. Upper St. Clair police charged Robert J. Romano, 61, of 10253 Garnet Lane, North Huntingdon, PA 15624, with three counts of accident involving damage to attended vehicles; one count of driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked; one count of passing in a no-passing zone; one count of driving within single lanes; and one count of reckless driving. According to a criminal complaint filed with district Judge Robert Wyda's office, police stated Romano was driving a black limo on Aug. 21 when he sideswiped three attended vehicles on McMillan Road near Painters Run Road.
