A township employee is working hard to increase sustainability in Upper St. Clair.
In 2011, Ron Sarrick will be making it his mission to help Upper St. Clair be as green as it can be. Sarrick is the newly appointed Buildings/Grounds & Sustainability Administrator of the township. "Upper St. Clair has been working on being more sustainable for years," Sarrick said. "And now we are putting even more focus on it." Sarrick is working to form a committee to come up with new, sustainable goals for the township. Each department in Upper St. Clair would appoint a member to the committee, which would then meet a few times a year, find ways township employees can become more green and reach out to the community for fresh ideas.
