Here are the top 10 in Pennsylvania: In all of America, Jacob and Sophia are repeat champions. It's the 14th year in a row Jacob tops the list for boys and the second year for Sophia. Here are the top 10 boys and girls names in America for 2012: There is a new couple in the top 10 this year—Elizabeth and Liam replace Chloe and Daniel. Elizabeth has been here before, but this is the first time Liam breaks into the top 10.  Perhaps Liam’s new found success can be attributed to Liam Neeson’s recent major roles in Battleship and the popular Taken, The Chronicles of Narnia and Clash of the Titans franchises. Patch Poll: What's Your Biggest Worry If We Go Over the Fiscal Cliff?

Some lawmakers are in Washington, DC this weekend, trying to hammer out a last-minute deal to avoid the fiscal cliff, but if they don't, average citizens might feel the impact.

Our nation is less than two days from going over the "fiscal cliff"—and the compromise clock is ticking loudly. Senate leaders worked toward a last-minute compromise on Saturday to avoid middle-class tax increases and possibly prevent deep spending cuts, such as a 27 percent fee cut for doctors who treat Medicare patients. Tax Policy Center, a nonpartisan think tank, predicts that nearly 90 percent of households would be affected if Congressional leaders fail to reach a compromise before the Jan. 1 deadline. Among the impacts to average citizens: Those things would hit people in the wallet, which in turn has the potential to adversely affect our already-weak economy. Again you miss my point NE12Ukid. My point was using statistics is a game. You can find a statistical test to support just about any postion. That's the problem presenting just one set. You need to look at the whole picture not just a snap shot. And I will repeat, trying to make this a democrat/republic issue is very short sided. Most Popular Baby Names of 2011

Jacob and Sophia are America’s most popular baby names for 2011, according to the Social Security Administration. This is the 13th year in a row Jacob tops the list for boys and the first year for Sophia, who knocks Isabella to number two after a two-year stint at the top of our list for girls. There is only one new name in the top 10 on either list this year. Mason rocketed to number two from outside of the top 10 to replace Anthony on the boys’ side. Here are the top 10 boys and girls names for 2011: Mason, a relatively popular name since the 1990s, had never cracked the top 25 until 2010, when it hit number 12.
