Retiring Upper St. Clair School Employees Honored at Meeting

Five staff members are retiring.

Five retiring Upper St. Clair School District employees were recognized during Monday night's school board meeting. Kathleen Kuzma, a Baker Elementary teacher, is retiring after 22.5 years with the district. She was hired as a teacher aide in September 1972, and took some time away to take care of her family before returning. Leslie Leeds, an Upper St. Clair High School Spanish teacher, is retiring. She was not present at Monday's meeting. Carolyn Seymour, a Baker Elementary teacher aide, is retiring after being with the district since 1994. She also is a volunteer with the Thai exchange program. Superintendent Patrick O'Toole jokingly said he was going to miss Ruth Underwood, the high school's head cook, the most, as he is fond of her …
