18 Upper St. Clair Swimmers Qualify for This Week's PIAA Meet

Two boy swimmers captured first place at the WPIAL championship.

Upper St. Clair High School is sending nine boys and nine girls to the PIAA swim meet Thursday, according to athletic director Matthew Mellinger. The 18 students qualified for the state competition following a strong showing in the WPIAL championship.  Two boys finished in first place. Ryan Dudzinski won both the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke. Alex Hardwick captured the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle.
