Pittsburgh Penguins Recall Upper St. Clair Hockey Player

Pens recalled defenseman Dylan Reese Wednesday night from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton It was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero, an Upper St. Clair resident.

Executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero, of Upper St. Clair, announced Wednesday night that the Pittsburgh Penguins recalled defenseman Dylan Reese Wednesday night from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. The roster move came a short time after the Pens traded defenseman Ben Lovejoy to Anaheim in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2014.  Reese, 28, spent the entire season with WBS, scoring with 15 points in 39 AHL games, according to the Pittsburgh Penguins website. A 6-foot, 205-pound defenseman, Reese had appeared in 74 career NHL games with the New York Islanders. He was originally drafted by the New York Rangers after playing hockey at Harvard. 'Austin’s Playroom' Finds Home with AGH’s Center for Traumatic Stress

The child-friendly waiting area for pediatric patients and their families is funded by the Mario Lemieux Foundation.

Austin’s Playroom, a child-friendly waiting area for pediatric patients and their families, funded by the Mario Lemieux Foundation, opened its latest room Tuesday at Allegheny General Hospital’s Center for Traumatic Stress in Children and Adolescents. “Austin’s Playroom,” a special initiative of the Foundation’s Austin’s Playroom Project, is specially designed to improve children’s experiences in the health care system, whether as a visitor or a patient, by furnishing cheerful playrooms that are safe, calming and comfortable. “We are very pleased and grateful that the Lemieux Foundation chose the Center for Traumatic Stress to build the latest Austin’s Playroom,” said Anthony Mannarino, Ph.D., director of the center and vice chair of the …
