Wesley Spectrum Student Charged With Having Pain Pills in School

A Wesley Spectrum Academy student is facing a drug possession charge after police said he was found with three Tylenol with codeine pills at school on Jan. 19. Zachary Michael Scalise, 18, of 70 Noblestown Road, Carnegie, waived his preliminary hearing to court on Monday. According to the criminal complaint filed by Upper St. Clair police, school staff reported Scalise was acting impaired, checked his wallet and discovered the pain pills. Scalise would not tell police how he acquired them. The pills were sent to a crime lab for a positive ID, according to police.
