High School Club to Host Family Spaghetti Dinner

After helping with this past weekend's Easter egg hunt, the Upper St. Clair High School's Interact Club is already preparing for its next event. Tickets are available for their Family Spaghetti Dinner Night. The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 7 in the high school's nutrition center. Tickets purchased in advance cost $8 for adults and $5 for kids. Tickets will also be available at the door and will cost $10 for adults and $7 for kids. Families Invited to Hop Aboard 'The Polar Express' Tonight

The Upper St. Clair High School Interact Club is hosting a holiday party.

The Upper St. Clair High School Interact Club is hosting a holiday party for kids—preschool through elementary—from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11. The party will be held at the high school in the LGI room across from the theater. Admission is free, but attendees are asked to bring a toy donation for the Washington and Green County Toys for Tots. There will be crafts, games and a viewing of The Polar Express. Hot cocoa, cookies and popcorn will be available. Blankets and pillows are recommended for the movie. Parents are asked to stay for the party. EGGcellent Easter Egg Hunt Despite Chilly, Damp Weather

The chilly, damp weather Saturday didn't deter the crowd at Upper St. Clair's annual Easter Egg Hunt. In fact, the children didn't even seem to notice! The morning began with face painting, planting, arts and crafts, and photos with the Easter Bunny. At 11 a.m., kids gathered around their designated age areas. And when the whistle blew, the 4,500 eggs were gone within minutes. Inside the eggs, children found candy or a number coordinating with a prize. The largest prize was a huge, stuffed bunny. “We’ve never had to charge a fee and hopefully we never will,” said Milt Hammel, member of the Bethel-St. Clair Rotary Club.
