A Bikram Yoga is planned for Washington Road in Mt. Lebanon. The hot yoga center, which has numerous franchise locations around the country, will be the first one in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Ignacio Filippini, who lives in Peters Township and plans to move to Mt. Lebanon, said he hopes to open his new business in June. After graduating from the Bikram Yoga College of India a few years ago, he’s worked full-time as a yoga instructor at 15 studios in the United States and Canada. While working inside her Bridgeville salon for the past five years, Lisa Morgan had a clear view of the run down pizza shop across Route 50. The owner of Bangz salon had a few ideas for what she’d like to see the storefront at Washington Avenue and Hickman Street become if the pizza shop ever closed. So when workers started carting the pizza ovens out in early May, she and her business partner, Christine Murray, pounced on the chance to start a new business at the prime location in Bridgeville. Dana Barone was hooked on hot yoga.
