Upper St. Clair Man Charged With DUI

An Upper St. Clair man is headed to trial on DUI charges. An Upper St. Clair police officer reported in a criminal complaint filed with district Judge Robert Wyda's office that he pulled over Robert R. Gostic, 39, for speeding in November. The officer was performing traffic enforcement near the Marosz Station on Washington Road. The officer stated he smelled alcohol on Gostic's breath. Gostic told the officer he drank at the Pittsburgh Steelers game and failed a field sobriety test, according to the complaint. Gostic's blood alcohol content was measured at .154 percent. In Pennsylvania, the legal blood alcohol content is .08 percent. Gostic is also facing charges for having a suspended and expired driver's license and speeding. The officer…
