Woman Accused of Stealing Sent to Jail

The latest from the office of Magisterial District Judge Robert Wyda.

District Judge Robert Wyda sent a Pittsburgh woman to the Allegheny County Jail Monday after he discovered two outstanding bench warrants for her arrest during a preliminary hearing. Jenauba Lipford, 22, of 307 Arabella St., Pittsburgh, PA 15210, is charged with stealing items from the South Hills Village Macy's on Dec. 24, 2010 and April 1, 2011. In the latest case filed by the Bethel Park police, officers stated Lipford tried to steal more than $500 worth of Polo hats, shirts and a pair of pants. In addition, Wyda discovered that Lipford failed to appear to two separate retail theft hearings with district Judges Thomas Torkowsky in Homestead and Suzanne Blaschak in West Deer.
