Woman Accused Of Charging $15K on Friend's Credit Card

The victim inadvertently paid for the charges for more than a year, according to the criminal complaint.

The hearing for a Bethel Park woman accused of ringing up more than $15,000 of charges on a former friend's credit card was continued for 30 days on Monday in district Judge Robert Wyda's courtroom. Janet Pyszka, 47, is charged with one count of access device fraud. In September, an Upper St. Clair man reported to police that someone had been using his credit card since December 2010 and that he had inadvertently paid off the unauthorized charges, according to a criminal complaint. When the alleged abuse was uncovered, the victim allegedly found purchases from Comcast; Asian Garden; Fox's; Raya's; Pizza Parma; Verizon Wireless; Vocelli's; Duquesne Light; Pennslyvania American Water and others.
