News Nearby: Rap Star Buys House in Canonsburg Area

Wiz Khalifa reportedly purchases $1 million home.

Perry Como has been honored with a statue outside the Canonsburg borough building. And everyone knows Bobby Vinton sang "Roses Are Red."  Now there’s reason to change tunes. Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa, known for his 2010 hit “Black and Yellow,” purchased a five-bedroom, four-bathroom house in Canonsburg, the website TMZ reported Wednesday. The nearly $1-million purchase puts the rapper squarely in Steeler territory—and adds another commercially successful musician to Canonsburg’s residential history. What do you think about Wiz Khalifa's new crib? Tell us in the comments! This article first appeared on Canon-McMillan Patch.
