Pittsburgh Penguins Recall Upper St. Clair Hockey Player

Pens recalled defenseman Dylan Reese Wednesday night from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton It was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero, an Upper St. Clair resident.

Executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero, of Upper St. Clair, announced Wednesday night that the Pittsburgh Penguins recalled defenseman Dylan Reese Wednesday night from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. The roster move came a short time after the Pens traded defenseman Ben Lovejoy to Anaheim in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2014.  Reese, 28, spent the entire season with WBS, scoring with 15 points in 39 AHL games, according to the Pittsburgh Penguins website. A 6-foot, 205-pound defenseman, Reese had appeared in 74 career NHL games with the New York Islanders. He was originally drafted by the New York Rangers after playing hockey at Harvard.
