The funeral arrangements for Andrew Guzzi have been revealed.
The Upper St. Clair community is mourning the loss of a 2005 Upper St. Clair High School graduate who died from a three-story fall off a fire escape in the South Side early Sunday. Principal Michael Ghilani said he spoke with many of the teachers at the school Monday and they all agreed that Guzzi "had a great sense of humor, was always very, very respectful, and just had a really great personality." After graduating from Upper St. Clair High School, Guzzi went on to Washington & Jefferson College where he earned degrees in psychology and business. Andrew Guzzi graduated from Upper St Clair High School in 2005.
The death of an Upper St. Clair High School graduate on the South Side early Sunday morning has been ruled as accidental, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office. Andrew Guzzi, 25, of Dormont, died of blunt force trauma to the head after falling three stories off a fire escape at the corner of 18th and Carey Streets.
