Upper St. Clair Placed on AP Honor Roll

The high school makes the AP Honor Roll for the third year in a row.

Upper St. Clair High School was selected among 539 districts in the U.S. and Canada as earning a place in the Third Annual College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Roll. For the 2011-12 school year, the AP Honor Roll recognized public school districts that simultaneously achieved increases in access to AP® courses for a broader number of students and also maintained or improved the rate at which their AP students earned scores of 3 or higher on an AP Exam. Achieving both of these goals is the ideal scenario for a district’s AP program because it indicates that the district is successfully identifying motivated, academically prepared students who are likely to benefit most from rigorous AP course work.
