The chances of getting two holes in one are 1 out of 67 million.
It is quite the accomplishment to get a hole in one. But to get two holes in one during one round of golf is nearly impossible! That's exactly what former Upper St. Clair High School golf player Joey Lang did on Sunday, May 19. The avid golfer was playing at Scenic Valley Golf Course in Finleyville when he hit a hole in one on the sixth hole. It was 145 yards and he used a 9-iron, according to his sister Stephanie Lang-Ali. Just two holes later, Joey drained another hole in one on the eighth hole. It was 143 yards and he used an 8-iron. The chances of an amateur player making one hole in one is 1 in 12,000. And to make a second hole in one? You're talking a 1 in 67 million chance, according to Golf Digest. There are better odds that Joey …

Through traffic on Route 19 itself will be minimally impeded during the construction. The official detours are Boyce Road from Route 19 to Mayview Road and East McMurray Road from Valley Brook tor Route 19. More than 11,000 vehicle trips per day will be displaced. Whether they are in the city or country, there are places near home where you can find fresh produce—or get seedlings to grow your own.
To every thing there is a season—and we are in the season of planting. Despite the frost warnings this week, May is the time when many plants take root. And not far behind are the early harvests. There are a number of local farms that provide a variety of seedlings and sprouts, produce, and other products as the growing season progresses. Some are out in the country, while others are urban farms. (Check out the video in this article's media gallery of Garden Dreams Urban Farm & Nursery in Wilkinsburg.) According to the LocalHarvest.org website, most produce in the United States is picked 4-7 days before being placed on supermarket shelves and is shipped for an average of 1,500 miles before being sold. Fortunately for Upper St. Clair folks…

The vehicle a drunk driver died in is also sitting outside of Upper St. Clair High School this week.
There was complete silence amongst the normally chatty students on Monday at Upper St. Clair High School as they witnessed a mock, yet powerful, fatal DUI crash. It's the first time in 20 years the high school organized the event for the students around prom season. This year, students will be eating dinner at the site of the prom—the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe—and officials expect more kids will be driving to the event instead of taking a limo for a short time. "We're hoping that this sends the seniors a message and that it's well received," said Dr. Bill Rullo, guidance counselor. If Monday's simulation doesn't do the trick, the school bells will be switched to tolling bells on Tuesday, representing the actual amount of people who die…
