Rotary Club of Upper St Clair-Bethel Park Inducts New Member

Rotarian Brad Harrison was inducted into the Rotary Club of Upper St Clair-Bethel Park on July 5.

Harrison is a former naval submarine officer and has served in a variety of national defense and public policy capacities in government and the private sector since 1998. He is currently the district director for the office of Congressman Tim Murphy, R-Upper St. Clair, in Mt. Lebanon where he focuses on serving more than 600,000 citizens of Southwestern Pennsylvania on behalf of U.S. Rep. Murphy.

Harrison holds a B.S. in political science from the United States Naval Academy and an M.S. in engineering management from the Catholic University of America. He volunteers as chairman of the U.S. Naval Academy class of 2002 fundraising committee. Harrison is a lifetime member of the U.S. Naval Institute, where he sits on the editorial board for Proceedings magazine, and belongs to the Military Officers Association of America, the National Defense Industrial Association, the American Society of Naval Engineers, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Navy League of the United States, and the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association. 

Since 2005, Harrison has been married to Gretchen Benford Harrison of O'Hara Township. They are parents of Henry James Harrison and reside in Upper St. Clair.
