Wilson said he was also pleased with Tobias' performance. He had two of the three hits of the night. However, the team didn't pull through.

"We missed out on a lot of opportunities. We left a lot of guys on base," Wilson said. "Seneca Valley was very opportunistic."

Seneca Valley got their runs in the sixth and seventh innings.

The loss ends the season for the Panthers.

"We had a good season. We played well and had a lot of good seniors that contributed a lot," Wilson said. "We should be good again next year. We lose some good seniors, but we still have some advantageous underclassmen."

Seneca Valley goes on to play Bethel Park in the WPIAL semifinal game. They will play Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at North Allegheny.
