5 Upper St. Clair Swimmers Earn All-America Status

Some of the country's best high school swimmers are from Upper St. Clair.

No less than five Upper St. Clair High School athletes have made the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association's All-America lists for 2013.

The lists include the top 100 swimmers per event during the 2012-13 high school season.

Earning All-America status as USC Panthers—all boys—are:

Ryan Dudzkinski, sophomore (50-yard freestyle, 20.86 seconds, 59th place; 100 backstroke, 49.69 seconds; 41st; 100 butterfly, 49.30 seconds, 44th)

- Alex Hardwick, junior (50 free, 20.95 seconds, 86th; 100 free, 45.79 seconds, 84th; 200 free, 1 minute, 39.96 seconds, 82nd)

- 200 free relay, 1:24.86, 38th (Hardwick; Nathan Novak, junior; Tomos Williams, sophomore; Dudzinski)

- 400 free relay, 3:07.11, 53rd (Hardwick; Novak; Nikhil Narayanan, junior; Dudzinski)
