Upper St. Clair Football Coach to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award

Jim Render has won more games than any high school football coach in western Pennsylvania history.

Upper St. Clair High School's head football coach Jim Render will receive the lifetime achievement award at the Lou Holtz/Upper Ohio Valley Hall of Fame on June 24.

Render has reached the state finals four times with Upper St. Clair—winning twice.

Speaking of winning, Render has won more games than any high school football coach in western Pennsylvania history with a record of 364-113-5, with five Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League titles.

Render was an East Liverpool High School assistant football coach from 1965-67.

The induction banquet will take place June 24 in Wintersville. Holtz will be in attendance and so will Ohio State football head coach Urban Meyer, this year's guest speaker.
