Upper St. Clair Boys to Play at Highmark Soccer Stadium (at Least) 4 Times This Year

Also, the girls team is scheduled to play once at Highmark.

Upper St. Clair High School's varsity boys soccer team will play on Pittsburgh's biggest soccer stage at least four times this season, starting with two games next weekend in the East-West Classic at Highmark Stadium.

The Upper St. Clair boys, the defending PIAA (state) AAA champions, will represent the western half of Pennsylvania with a rematch against the 2012 state runners-up from Wilson High School of the Reading area on Friday, Aug. 30, at 8 p.m.

Win or lose, the Panthers will then play Exeter Township High School, also of the Reading area, the next day at 1 p.m.

Admission to the East-West Classic games is free.

The USC boys will return to Highmark Stadium at least twice more during the 2013 season, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette—Saturday, Sept. 14, vs. Bethel Park High School at 5 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 5, vs. Mt. Lebanon High School at 12:30 p.m.

The stadium will also play host to the WPIAL's championship soccer games this year, meaning that the Panthers could end up back at Highmark in November.

USC's varsity girls will get at least one game in at Highmark this season, according to the P-G. They will play Bethel Park on Sept. 14 at 3 p.m., just before the boys game.
