'Put the Biscuit in the Net' Program Offers Girls Ice Hockey Experience

The program is offered to girls in kindergarten through grade 12.

Attention girls in grades kindergarten through 12—there is now a great chance to give ice hockey a try!

A program titled Put the Biscuit in the Net will be offered at Bladerunners in Bethel Park, near Upper St. Clair, the first weekend in May and is open to South Hills girls. It is being offered through the Girl Scouts organization.

Session times are 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, 11:15 a.m. tp 12:50 p.m. Saturday, May 4 and 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5.

Organizers also noted that a pizza party will be held Sunday, as well.

The fee for the program is $30.

 

But organizers noted: Participants must be enrolled in the Girl Scouts, but any girl who would like to participate and who is not yet a Girl Scout may register for an additional $12 fee.
