USC School Board Looks to Fill Vacancy

School director Bruce Kerman died on Dec. 16 after a four-year struggle with cancer.

Upper St. Clair School District is searching for a new school director.

District officials will accept letters of application accompanied by resumes from persons seeking appointment to fill the unexpired term of a school board director ending in December 2013.

Letters of application may be submitted to Dr. Patrick T. O'Toole, Superintendent of Schools, Upper St. Clair School District, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241 until Wednesday, Jan. 4 at noon.

Candidate interviews will be held on Jan. 9 (and if needed Jan. 12) at the commencing at 6:30 p.m., with recommended appointment to be made at a special school board meeting on either Monday, Jan. 9, or Thursday, Jan. 12, at the district central office commencing at 6:30 p.m. or immediately following the interviews.
