Upper St. Clair School Board Examines District's PSSA Scores

The district scored well above the state average.

Upper St. Clair administrators presented the district's 2012 PSSA scores to the school board Monday night.

Scores were well above the state average.

Students in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 11 took the PSSAs in the spring of 2012.

Reading Math Science Writing Upper St. Clair School District 91.9 92.0 87.3 95.0 Pennsylvania 71.0 74.3 60.8 73.3

 

Administrators said they see more females scoring proficient and advanced than males. They also see that females generally perform better in the reading and writing categories and males generally perform better in the math and science categories.
