Two-Hour Delay for USC Schools

Superintendent decides to hold a two-hour delay on Tuesday morning due to risk of slick roads and ice.

Superintendent Patrick O'Toole is calling for a two hour delay for Upper St. Clair School District on Tuesday morning, due to the risk of dangerously slick roadways and sidewalks. There is also a modified schedule for kindergarten. Morning session will take place from 10:15 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. Afternoon session will take place from 1:05 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Allegheny County remains under a winter weather advisory until 8 a.m. The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh reports a mix of sleet, freezing rain and snow possible on Tuesday morning. Untreated surfaces, such as side roads and sidewalks, could be slippery.
