School Director Louis Oliverio congratulated the group on their outstanding work.

“Believe it or not–I didn’t have a singing role–but I was in my senior class high school musical,” Oliverio said. “I know it’s a ton of work. Congratulations to all of you. I know you and your families and all your friends put together a lot of effort, a lot of time–hours and days and weeks–so congratulations on a successful performance.”

Musical Director Lorraine Milovac and producer/sponsor Paul Fox also were recognized. Fox has worked on the past 30 spring musicals and also directed five choir musicals.

“These are wonderful students and every year it’s a different show,” Fox said. “It’s a whole new ball game.”

The school board gave Fox a standing ovation to applaud his longevity.

“We’ve been putting on productions at a very high, profession level,” Fox said. “It’s been my joy of doing this with these students, so thank you for this support.”

Milovac was not in attendance for the school board meeting.
