Middle School Renovations to be Celebrated Saturday
The ribbon cutting ceremonies will take place Saturday at 9 a.m. for Boyce and 10:30 a.m. for Fort Couch.
On Saturday, Oct. 22, ribbon cutting ceremonies will be held at the recently renovated at 9 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m.
The short ceremonies will be followed with open houses at the schools until
12 p.m. during which time members of the community and the public are invited to self-guided tours.
The now celebrates the completion of all school facilities being renovated. The district’s capital project program of comprehensive school building renovations started in 1998 with the renovation of the , which was completed in 2000. The district’s three elementary schools—, and —were renovated in 2002-03. The renovation construction projects at both middle schools began in August of 2009 and are .
