Host Families Needed for USC's First-Ever Chinese Exchange Program

Students and teachers will visit in February.

Upper St. Clair High School is in need of more host families for its first-ever Chinese student exchange program.

Two teachers and 22 high school students from Beijing will visit Upper St. Clair from Feb. 2-24.

The teachers and students are looking to experience American education, attend classes at the Upper St. Clair High School and go on several educational field trips around Pittsburgh.

The exchange program started when assistant principal Jace Palmer visited China in April 2011 and June 2012 in attempt to set up partnerships with Chinese high schools.  Palmer hopes to send some Upper St. Clair students to China in June.

For more information about becoming a host family, email Palmer at jpalmer@uscsd.k12.pa.us.
