School Supply Drive

A collection of school supplies will take place at Fort Couch Middle school from Monday, May 14 through Friday, May 18 to benefit The Education Partnership.  Families of students who are interested in supporting this cause can bring any of the following new items to school this week: scissors, glue, pens/pencils, and crayons.

The Education Partnership is a local non-profit that provides school supplies to students in area schools where 70% or more of the students are on the National free/reduced lunch program.  During the 2011-2012 school year, The Education Partnership provided $750,000 in school supplies to 5200 students in our region.

The drive was organized by 8th grader, Joe Paul as part of the school's challenge program.  Items will be collected during lunch period at Ft. Couch Middle School this week.  Items should be placed in the marked boxes.  For more information please contact The Education Partnership at 412/922-6500.
