Carlow University ECO Camp and Summer Science Nation
ECO Camp- Environmental Career Opportunities is a three day program that introduces you to “green” careers. Through hands-on labs, seminars, and field trips to Pittsburgh locations where environmentally friendly work is being done, you’ll discover the broad range of opportunities in these booming fields. You’ll meet other girls like you who are eager to explore creative ways they can improve and sustain the health of the planet through fields like science, art, conservation and industry.

Summer Science Nation is a three day program that introduces you to career options in science. Through hands-on lab experiments, field trips to Pittsburgh’s research and industry facilities, and meetings with scientists in the field, you’ll see the broad range of opportunities in science that are available- and meet women succeeding in these careers. You will the McGowan Center for Regenerative Medicine and the zoo. You’ll also meet other girls, like you, who want to explore a future in science.
