'76 Trombones' Lead This Year's USCHS Musical

'The Music Man' promises to entertain and excite on March 4-6 and 10-12.

Friday night is opening night for the 2011 musical, Meredith Wilson’s “.”

Traveling salesman “Professor” Harold Hill arrives in River City to convince the parents in town that they’ve “got trouble” with the downward spiraling morals of the town’s youth. His solution: purchase musical instruments and uniforms to give the kids something to do after school. His qualifications are questioned and he tries to find a way to get out of town fast with the cash, but finds himself falling for town librarian Marian Paroo.  Will the townspeople of River City run Professor Hill out of town? Will he get the girl in the end? Come and find out!

Performances run March 4-6 and 10-12. Friday and Saturday night showings are at 7:30, the Sunday matinee is at 2:00, and a special Family Night on Thursday, March 10 at 6:30 provides audience members a chance to meet the actors backstage for an autograph session.
