What's Closed on Memorial Day

In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, the Upper St. Clair School District is closed on Monday.

All , Allegheny County, state and federal offices and courts will be closed. Banks and liquor stores will also not be open.

The will not have regular mail delivery or collection, but Express Mail will be delivered.

According to the Upper St. Clair Public Works, trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day this week. If your regular trash/recycling day is Wednesday, pickup will be Thursday, June 2. If your regular trash/recycling day is Thursday, pickup will be Friday, June 3. 

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation driver's license and photo centers will be closed, although some services will be available on its website

The Port Authority of Allegheny County's bus, T and incline service will operate on holiday schedules for Memorial Day.

Port Authority's customer service phone line will have holiday hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday, May 30, and the downtown service center will be closed.

Some bus routes will be detoured over the holiday weekend due to parades and other community events.

Individuals with disabilities presenting a disabled or handicapped person's Medicare card or Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Reduced Transit Fare card will pay half fare on Memorial Day.
