State Sen. Matt Smith (D-Mt. Lebanon) is inviting Upper St. Clair residents to an open house at his Mt. Lebanon district office.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The office is located at 319 Castle Shannon Blvd. in Mt. Lebanon.
"The open house is a great opportunity for me to meet constituents face-to-face," Smith stated. "This office will link residents of the South Hills with the programs, services and information they need.
"Some constituents may remember the office from my tenure in the House of Representatives," Smith added. "We are in the same location with the same phone number, but I encourage constituents to stop by to meet me and my staff."
Smith's office is regularly open Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Constituents can contact the Mt. Lebanon district office by calling 412-571-2169, toll free at 866-736-7477 and via the contact form on www.SenatorMattSmith.com.
Smith also has a district office located at 1009 Beaver Grade Rd., Suite 230, in Moon Township, which is also open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The phone number there is 412-262-2260.
Smith has a satellite office inside the Peters Township Municipal Building at 610 E. McMurray Rd. The office is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Peters office's phone number is 724-942-7210.
All offices offer constituents a wide variety of services, including assistance with PennDOT paperwork, property tax and rent rebates, PHEAA student loan applications, and problems with unemployment compensation, food stamps and medical assistance, or any state-related matter.
