Upper St. Clair Seeks Ward 2 Commissioner

Resumes and letters of interest are due next week.

is seeking a new commissioner for the second ward after on Jan. 2.

Commissioner Bob Orchowski, president of the board of commissioners, stated that any resident interested in being considered for appointment to the vacancy should send a resume and letter of interest to Matthew R. Serakowski, Township Manager, Township of Upper St. Clair, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA  15241. This information must be received at the township manager’s office no later than 4 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Qualifications for commissioner ward 2 are U.S. citizenship, residence in the township for a minimum of one year and a resident of ward 2. The individual must be a qualified voter of the township and remain the same during the term of office. The individual appointed to this position will serve the remainder of the term, which expires on Dec. 31, 2013.
