Upper St. Clair Residents To Get New Bill in Mail

Pennsylvania American Water will no longer bill for sewage in its monthly water bills. The company's decision has forced Upper St. Clair and other municipalities to come up with a new way to collect the money by October 2012.

Upper St. Clair commissioners unanimously approved Monday night a two-year, $150,000 agreement with Jordan Tax Service to perform the sewer billing for the township.

August Stache, Jr., director of finance, estimated residents would see the new bills in their mailboxes starting Aug. 1, 2012.
