Upper St. Clair Has New Allegheny County Council Representative

A Mt. Lebanon Republican was sworn in on Tuesday night.

Krista Harris (R-Mt. Lebanon) is Upper St. Clair's new Allegheny County Council representative.

Harris was sworn in on Tuesday night. She replaces Vince Gastgeb's (R-Bethel Park) former District 5 seat. 

Harris is the vice chair of the Republican Committee of Mt. Lebanon and is a committee member for the Junior League of Pittsburgh.

She is currently an account executive at Cold Spark Media, an advertising and public relations firm located in downtown Pittsburgh. Prior to that, she worked in Harrisburg for a government affairs firm and in Washington, D.C. for U.S. Rep. Jim Gerlach.

Harris recived a bachelor's degree from Susquehanna University and master’s in media and public affairs from The George Washington University

A resident of Mt. Lebanon, Harris lives with her husband, Mark, daughter, Abigail, and dog, Dexter.

District 5 also represents Mt. Lebanon, Bethel Park and Bridgeville.
