Newly Elected USC Commissioners Sworn In, Officers Appointed
Nick Seitanakis begins his very first term as Upper St. Clair commissioner. Bob Orchowski will serve another year as president and Russell Del Re will serve as vice president.
The newly elected commissioners were sworn into office by on Monday night.
Commissioners Bob Orchowski, Glenn Dandoy and Russell Del Re were re-elected in the . Nick Seitanakis was elected for the first time. He replaces Preston Shimer, who did not run for another term.
The board reappointed Orchowski as president for 2012. In another unanimous decision, the board appointed Del Re as vice president.

The public was notified of Commissioner Mark Hamilton's resignation on Monday night. In his resignation letter dated Dec. 31, 2011, Hamilton stated he would be moving his primary residence to the Ligonier area. to read his full letter.
The township is now accepting resumes and letters of interest from Ward 2 residents to finish Hamilton's term until Dec. 2013.
