The McLaughlin Run Bridge is tentatively scheduled to reopen next week after being closed for nearly seven months while crews rebuilt the span.

Bridgeville borough officials said they are “hopeful” the bridge will reopen on schedule next week.
“We’re excited about it opening,” Bridgeville Borough Manager Lori Collins said. “What we have found, especially in these latter months, are that people have found their way around. There was no heavy traffic on any one road. People found their own way.”
