Good Friday, Easter: What's Open, What's Closed

Hippity, hoppity, Easter's on its way!

With a major holiday comes closings of area institutions and businesses. Here's a rundown of what's open or closed:

• are closed on Good Friday, April 6.
• The is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Good Friday and will be closed for Easter, April 8.
• The is open on Good Friday. The Good Friday pool schedule include open swim from 9 to 10:30 a.m.; play structure only from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.; open swim from 12 to 1 p.m.; play structure and slide from 1 to 4 p.m.; open swim from 4 to 5:30 p.m.; and play structure and slide from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The C&RC will be closed on Easter.
• The is closed for spring break. Classes resume on Tuesday, April 10.
• will close at 4 p.m. on Easter.
• will be closed on Easter.
• The is open on Good Friday.
• Emma's Market & Deli is open on Good Friday, but will close on Saturday and Sunday for Easter.
  
• Allegheny County offices will be closed on Good Friday, except for the Real Estate and Civil Division of the Sheriff’s Office and the offices and departments reporting to the county executive.
• Port Authority's bus, T and incline service will follow regular weekday schedules on Good Friday, but the Downtown Service Center on Smithfield Street will be closed in observance of the holiday. On Saturday and Easter Sunday, the transit service will follow Saturday and Sunday schedules, respectively.
