Feinberg Volunteers Report Stolen Campaign Signs

Volunteers for U.S. House candidate claim some of his campaign signs have been stolen.

Judy Brown, of , said signs placed on Paxton Drive and Route 88 in Bethel Park on Wednesday went missing on Thursday.

She also has received reports from other volunteers who say signs along Route 19 have been removed or taken out of the ground and laid down flat. She said the signs for that are next to the Feinberg signs are still there and are standing.

"As a member of the USC Republican Committee and a Republican State Committeewoman I find it disgusting," she said.

Feinberg said he received the reports from volunteers.

"I've heard they've been disappearing where 'Murphy for Congress' signs are. There are local laws prohibiting tampering with signs, but I couldn't say who is doing it. It's not like I could point to my political opponent and I can't blame his supporters. It's discouraging and disheartening that someone is in fact doing it," Feinberg said.

Feinberg is challenging incumbent U.S. Rep. Tim Murphy for the 18th District. The primary is on Tuesday, April 24.

When reached for comment, Murphy's campaign manager James Genovese said if the allegation of stolen signs is against them, then the allegation is "preposterous."
