Area Agency on Aging to Hold Public Hearing

The advisory council of the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Area Agency on Aging will hold a hearing to solicit public comment from Upper St. Clair residents on the 2013-14 area plan and budget.

The public hearing will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, at One Smithfield Street, Lower Level, Liberty conference room. 

Persons wishing to give testimony may pre-register by calling 412-350-1323 for an assigned 5-minute time slot. Speakers may also register the day of the hearing and provide testimony as time permits.

The hearing is also an opportunity for older adults, caregivers and other interested individuals to ask questions and offer comments on aging services in general. All oral and written comments will be recorded in the official proceedings of the hearing and sent to the Pennsylvania Department of Aging in Harrisburg.
