WV Woman Accused of Stealing from CVS, Headed to Trial

A West Virginia woman accused of stealing from the in Upper St. Clair is headed to trial.

Corrina Holloway, 44, of 67 33rd Street, Wheeling, WV, is charged with two counts of retail theft and one count of criminal conspiracy.

A CVS employee testified at Monday's hearing, claiming he saw Holloway stealing on surveillance video two separate times.

On July 21, he said the tape showed Holloway and an accomplice taking an Alli pill box from the pharmacy area, then taking the pills out of the box and tossing the box behind toilet paper.

On Sept. 4, the employee said he the surveillance camera captured a similar situation—this time he said the Alli box was stashed behind envelopes. A pharmacist spotted the missing Alli box, ran to the parking lot and wrote down the license plate. An Upper St. Clair police officer said tracing the plate led to identifying the suspected accomplice, Ashley Och.

Holloway's formal arraignment is scheduled for Dec. 6 at 9 a.m.

Charges Withdrawn
Charges were withdrawn , in agreement with a deal previously made with the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office.

The charges dropped are selling or furnishing alcohol to minors and corruption of minors.

Case Postponed
Richard Horan, 65, of 3 Boggs Ave. Rear, Pittsburgh, PA 15211, is charged with one count indecent assault, one count harassment and one count public drunkeness.

According to a criminal complaint filed by the Bethel Park police, a Paramount Assisted Living employee said Horan inappropriately grabbed her on Aug. 29. Horan said he was trying to look at the woman's nametag, according to the complaint.

Case Closed
The case against Stephanie Lieb,  20, of 1304 Rockland Ave., was closed Monday after she finished paying $1,000 in restitution.

According to the criminal complaint filed by Upper St. Clair police, Lieb was accused of stealing a gold-and-diamond ring worth $1,500 from a home on Hollowtree Drive while she and her mom were cleaning the home. Officers stated she sold the ring for $170 to buy drugs.
