Water Service to Be Restored Thursday Evening

There's a water main break on Cook School Road.

A leaking water main on Cook School Road in Upper St. Clair is expected to be fixed by mid-evening, according to Pennsylvania American Water.

The eight-inch main is on a hillside and is making the repair more difficult and increasing the amount time needed to restore service, according to the company's spokesperson. The leak was reported at 9 a.m.

It's not known how many customers are affected by the broken main.
