Upper St. Clair Man Charged With Stealing Grandfather's Guns

An man remains in the Allegheny County Jail after being charged with stealing three firearms from his grandfather's dresser drawer.

Brenden Christopher Johnson, 20, of 1542 Cook School Rd., Upper St. Clair, is charged with three counts of theft by unlawful taking.

On March 3, Johnson's grandfather reported to the that his grandson stole three guns from his dresser drawer in his bedroom. Two of the firearms belonged to the grandfather. The other firearm belonged to Johnson's father.

Johnson's grandfather said his grandson admitted to him that he took the guns and sold them to a drug dealer from Bellevue, according to the criminal complaint.

All charges against Johnson were waived to court on Monday.

Marquis V. Richie, 44, of 115 Abbeyville Rd. Apt. A-12, Bethel Park, is charged with three counts of terroristic threats, one count of aggravated assault, two counts of recklessly endangering another person and one count public drunkeness.

Upper St. Clair police arrested Richie the morning of March 2 after his co-workers said he showed up at the restaurant and threatened them with a knife. Richie told police he wanted to kill his boss because he was a racist, according to the criminal complaint.

Richie's preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 26 at the .

Waived
Lesa Lynn Kluwe, 48, of 209 Oak Highland Dr., Moon Township, is charged with driving under the influence and careless driving.

Upper St. Clair police arrested Kluwe on early Jan. 28 after she crashed her car into a stone retaining wall on Painters Run Road.

A witness had been following her and called police dispatch about the driver driving erratically and eventually crashing, according to the criminal complaint.

Kluwe was transported to following the accident.
