Upper St. Clair Bank Robbery Photo Released

FBI spokesperson said the man may have robbed another bank in the Pittsburgh area.

Upper St. Clair police and the FBI released surveillance photos of the man who robbed a bank near South Hills Village Mall on Wednesday night.

Police said the suspect robbed the PNC Bank on Fort Couch Road at about 6:40 p.m. The bank closes at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. 

The FBI spokesperson said the thief gave the bank teller a threatening note demanding money. The bank teller complied, gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and the man got away.

About 3-4 customers and multiple employees were in the bank during the robbery. Not everyone knew the robbery was taking place at the time, because the thief did not make a scene. No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 6 feet and  6-feet-3 with a slim build. He is believed to be between 60 and 65 years of age. He wore a gray-ish trench coat, black leather gloves and a black winter hat.

The FBI said the suspect may have recently robbed another bank in the Pittsburgh area.
